From Seven Hours to Two Hours: The Great Autism Training Edit Challenge

Today’s challenge: squeezing a full day’s worth of “Understanding Autism” training into just two hours.

Obviously, I’d love more time. But opportunities like this don’t come around often, and I want to make it count.

This session could be the one that sparks real change for someone, so I need to make it work.

So, what stays and what goes?

That’s the hard part.

I’ve gone through all 120 slides and they all feel important, useful, and (hopefully) interesting.

But ruthless decisions have to be made. 

So here’s my plan: 10 slides, 10 minutes each.

That gives me a bit of wiggle room for discussion, questions and a probable Zoom hiccup. (Intro and Q&A slides don’t count do they?)

What are the absolute musts?

What will spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and make a difference in just two hours?
